Holiday Shows

Uh, guys, this show is super cheap because of the subsidies and blahblahblahdramafundblahblahblah.

So if you are worried about the cost, don't be, because there will be a way to pay one.
And srsly, don't let swine flu stop you from going, because the swine flu isn't going to stop the actors from performing. -.-
But if srsly so few people going, then i think uh, it'll be more of a friend's outing than a CCA experience.
Okay i'm not making sense.

I'm just here because i don't wanna study for my big bio test tmrw.

Shakespearean Plays

Hermia

Helena

Demetrius

Lysander

Oberon

Titania

Puck

"The course of true love never did run smooth."

Basically, Hermia loves Lysander.

But Hermia, having noob parents, is engaged to Demetrius.

Then Helena pops out of the Big Courtroom Scene, falls for Demetrius.

But Demetrius loves Hermia.

So Hermia, trying to be punk, eloped with Lysander and stumbles onto Oberon and Titania, the fairy King/Queen.

The King and Queen were arguing, and the King, being the immature male that he is, wants revenge.

So the King asked his slave, Puck, to play a trick on the queen that concerns mortals.

The result is a charming and engaging story of magic and mishap that will captivate audiences young and old.

It is 33$ per ticket and mr.White has set aside some money to co-pay. Tickets are selling fast.

Another one coming up is Adrian Pang in another Shakespeare Much Ado About Nothing -

Mr.White says it's good because Adrain Pang is the best actor in the local industry, aside from his Red Thread production, which looks retarded.

DRAMA CLUBBERS ATTENTION

OMG JOLYN. THE SKIN'S SCREWED. D:

ATTENTION drama clubbers, from sec1-sec4.
This monday, which is TOMORROW, we will be watching a movie called 'The Knowing'.
As much as i agree that nicholas cage isn't a heartthrob, we are more or less looking forward to the aspect of bonding.
Okay i just had to insult him. (:

Right. The movie tickets will most probably cost $7 (rounded up) and all extras will proceed to the drama fund! :D

SYF

Oh man, someone should seriously update the blog. Like, edit the links and add the membership thing.
I'm not good with names.

Today was SYF, and i just want to say a big THANK YOU on behalf of the cast members to the props people. We know that it's been really tough on you guys and on some occasions, you guys have been treated really unfairly, and yet you guys did not show any attitude, but instead gave us the support we needed.

Thank you so much, we could never have done it without you guys. (:
You guys rawkxzxz.

And casualties (Geok Teng) please rest well! \:

And to the cast members.

I just want to say that it has been a very exhausting, tiring and yet exciting journey that we have decided to embark on.
This is a mountain that seemed too big to climb, and yet we chose to climb it with determination that we will overcome it.

Every single one of you is important to the production.
There is no such thing as 'more important' or 'less important'.
Everybody is a star, and everybody is crucial to how successful the play would work out.

Some of us may have been treated very unfairly, and i just want to apologise that i have been unable to do anything about it. I want you guys to know that i have seen this injustice and i know what you guys are going through. I want to thank you guys for sticking with us and persevering through, all the way to the end. This play would be impossible without you guys!

Remember: The effort we have put in belongs to us. No one can take it away from us.

All in all, we are not two separate entities.
We are not divided into 'PROP PEOPLE' and 'ACTORS'.
No.
Ultimately , we are one big group.
We have done this together, as one big group.
A group from the start, a group to the end.
Let us continue, so that from a group, we may become, a family.

From today onwards, a new chapter begins. Two of our awesome seniors will be stepping down.
I must say that i for one will definitely miss them.
From this day onwards, we do not have a senior-junior relationship with them anymore, but a friend relationship.
It is a bittersweet experience that each of us must learn to embrace.
We will never forget the memories shared with these two amazing seniors, especially those who have been in drama since 2007.
We love you guys.

Heheh. Yay, we all did a super performance (in my eyes at least). Let's just hope for the best, and be contented because we have given this performance our 150% already, yeah? :D
